Syringodium filiforme - Syringodium filiform (Kützing, 1860) - dead manatee grass floating at the sea surface. The wider blades are dead turtle grass (Thalassia testudinum). Seagrasses are fully marine angiosperms (flowering plants). Seagrass beds only occur in the shallow water photic zone.
