Melita palmata - Benthic amphipod, taken with a Leica DFC 490 camera mounted on a Leica M205C binocular microscope. This is an intertidal species found among algae and hydroids. The male has a characteristically large second gnathopod. Collected in 2011 at the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium.
